LETTER FROM EXECUTIVE BABY MOM

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

I am a relatively protective (new) mom. Before returning to work I visited six daycare facilities before finding Executive Baby (EB). From the moment I entered EB I knew it was the place for me (I know, sounds like a cliché advertisement, but it is true!)! It was well organized (spatially), it was clean, neat, not overly visually stimulating, the staff wore uniform tops with their names nicely embroidered, and the owners were genuinely interested in listening to, and meeting/answering my concerns. Things that EB does that really matters:

The areas for mobile and non-mobile infants are truly separate (completely different rooms!) – this is where they play. There is also a separate room for sleeping and a kitchen for eating. These are all very important features!

After almost a year of being at EB I can still say that the staff are just incredible. They listen to your concerns, they respond to your requests and make accommodations so that your child’s care is customized to issues they may be having, short or long-term. And they do so without judging or without complaining. They are friendly, genuine, professional, caring and experienced.

While I have often wondered what my daughter was doing during the day or was she sad without me (both probably projections of me missing her!), I have never worried about my daughter while she is at EB. When I was concerned about her (e.g., had a bad night, a stressful morning, teething, post-doctor visit, etc), I would send an email or give a call and I was told how she was and what she was up to. Deidre and Doreen do an excellent job of communicating with parents about their children.

At 10 months old my daughter was truly a good eater – and I am certain that the EB staff are to thank for this! They were also instrumental in transitioning her to a sippy cup (with straw) – she was off bottles by 11 months old!

Anytime I have a concern or a question (non-pediatrician type question), I ask Deidre and she spends the time to talk with me and figure out how EB can help me and do what is in the best interest of my daughter.

The care of my daughter is one of the most important things in my life. As a full-time working mom I am limited in how much I can do for her during the weekdays. Words cannot express how appreciative I am of the varied assistance my family has received from the owners and staff at EB. It is like a sec
